Adarna House guarantees the availability of all items listed in the product catalog.

 

 

 

All purchases made from the Adarna House website have to be paid using Paypal, which is already available in the Philippines.  If you don’t have a Paypal account yet, creating one is very easy.  Just complete the simple registration process from the Paypal website (you would need a credit card or a Unionbank EON account in the Philippines) and you’re good to go.

 

 

 

Rates are quoted in Philippine pesos and US dollars.  However, Paypal will be converting the charges to US Dollars during the payment transaction, based on current exchange rates.

 

 

 

Orders are processed Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Philippine time).  Orders received from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM are processed on the same day.  Orders received beyond the 3:00 PM cut-off will be processed the next day.  

 

Please note that we have a list of Out-of-Delivery Areas for domestic shipping, and that locations not found in the drop-down list of countries are considered Out-of-Delivery Areas for international shipping.  We also do not delivery to military addresses and PO Boxes.

 

 

 

The shipping fee for any location within the Philippines is Php 70.00.  Please see the list of Out-of-Delivery Areas (ODA) to verify whether our courier service delivers to your location.  If your location is an ODA, you may have to pay an additional fee upon delivery to your doorstep, or you may be requested to pick up the items at the nearest postal office.

 

The shipping fee for delivery outside the country has been divided into zones.  Please click on the zone to see which countries are included in that area.

 

Zone 1 - Php 850.00

Zone 2 - Php 1400.00 * Php 1,000

Zone 3 - Php 1900.00 * Php 1,000

Zone 4 - Php 3000.00 * Php 1,000

 

* All shipments can be tracked online from point of pick-up up to point of delivery, and will take 5 to 7 business days to be delivered through express mail service.  However, Zones 2 to 4 have an option to avail of a flat rate delivery fee of Php 1,000.00 — in which instance the package can only be tracked up to the point of entry to the destination country, and will take 7 to 14 business days to be delivered through premium registered mail.

 

Computing shipping fees

Our books have been divided into two groups, the small and light and the big or heavy.  The big or heavy books are counted individually, while the small and light items are counted in groups of four.  

 

What does this mean?  For example, a purchase made for two big or heavy books will incur one shipping fee of Php 140.00 (Php 70.00 x 2, if delivery address is in the Philippines).  Likewise, a purchase made for 5 to 8 small and light books will incur two shipping fees.  What if the purchase is composed of 1 big or heavy book and 1 small and light book?  That will incur two shipping fees as well.

 

 

 

 

 

We accommodate requests to return an item for replacement or refund, provided that we are advised of this intent within five (5) business days of the item’s delivery.  E-mail Genesis Manalo, Senior Sales Associate (genesis@adarna.com.ph) of your wish to return the item, the quality of the received item that did not meet your expectations, and whether you are requesting a refund or a replacement.  

 

Upon acknowledgement of your e-mail, we will ask you to send us back the item in question, along with the delivery receipt, which should be mailed out to us within three (3) business days of our acknowledgement.  Please send the items to 

 

 

We will then send back a replacement free of charge, or remit to your bank account an amount equal to the cost of the item plus its shipping fee.
